Can a pregnant woman board the aircraft?

Expectant mothers with a normal pregnancy are allowed to travel until the 35th week. They must produce an official medical certificate signed by the appointed doctor indicating the expected date of confinement and fitness for travel. For expectant mothers travelling internationally, we strongly advise that you seek clearance from the respective embassies to avoid deportation.

So, cammaner status aku skarang? I'm already 35 weeks and my flight ticket to KL next Friday. Aku x boleh balik awal sbb bos aku lepaskan aku untuk attachment di Hospital Melaka only 2 weeks before EDD. Dia kata masih selamat lg naik flight eventhough aku dh bgtau syarat2 naik flight utk expectant mother x bole lebih 35weeks. "Kalo panel doctor MAS sahkan awak boleh naik flight awak masih boleh balik even 2 weeks b4 EDD. Jgn risau. Kalo awak takut jugak, awak kena ambil cuti rehat awak sendiri 2 weeks b4 attachment". Uish, x kan nak abiskan cuti banyak b4 deliver. Kena simpan cuti utk my baby lg, balik raya lg. So aku just ambil cuti 1 week b4 attachment.

Last Thursday b4 cuti 3 hari ni aku cuba ikut procedure yg ditetapkan oleh MAS. Diorang kata kalo nak naik flight after 35 weeks kena isi special form dan perlu disahkan fit utk travel oleh panel doctor MAS. So, aku pun berusahalah dapatkan pengesahan tu. Malangnya doktor tu x nak sign form tu. Dia x nak responsible kalo aku terberanak atas flight and suruh aku cari doktor lain. Selamatlah aku ni staff hospital. Kalo x dah kena g klinik2 tuk cari doktor yg berani nak responsible. Aku mmg dah x cukup mase nak hantar form sbb jumaat cuti. Isnin dah masuk 36 weeks. Dapat gak pengesahan dari doktor yg baik hati. Aku ingat dah settle tp rupanya kena tunggu approval dari panel doktor dekat KL plak....

Huaaaaa..................problem aku blum settle lg. Aku ingat kalo bapak aku ikut skali naik flight diorang akan lepaskan. Kepada bos aku, INGAT SENANG KE NAK NAIK FLIGHT LEPAS 35WEEKS? So kawan2, doakanlah aku berjaya balik Melaka next Friday. Aku masih di Kuching ni dan terus berusaha utk dpt approval.
